    Flush or non-flush M12 inductive proximity sensor provides current and voltage signals proportional to the object's displacement, and features an M12 connector/2m PVC cable connection, 2mm/4mm detection distance. The inductive proximity switch can output 0-10V/0-20mA/4-20mA/0-10V+0-20mA analog signals, widely used in displacement measurement, thickness measurement, and material differentiation.

    inductive proximity sensor 4mm is a good fit
    I chose this sensor for a positioning application where space was limited. The inductive proximity sensor 4mm matched the setup and detected the metal target accurately. The installation was straightforward, although the sensing distance needed some fine adjustment. The IP67 protection is helpful in a machine environment, and it has performed well so far.
