The good-price laser retro-reflective photoelectric sensor offers an adjustable detection range of 300mm–8m, operates at 10–30V DC, and multiple NPN/PNP output modes. Its 3mm standard spot ensures precise positioning and stable detection, maintaining excellent repeatability (<5% Sr) even in complex environments. It is widely applicable for object positioning, area detection, automatic door systems, conveyor line monitoring, and various other scenarios.
The laser retro-reflective photoelectric sensor operates by emitting a focused laser beam onto a reflector, which then returns the light to the receiver. When the target object obstructs the light path or alters the beam direction, the sensor outputs a switching signal. The laser spot is small and highly directional, enabling long-distance, precise, and highly stable detection.
The reflector can be replaced, but it must be a polarization-maintaining reflector or mirror reflector matching the original model to ensure correct return angle and intensity. During installation, keep the reflective surface clean and align it vertically with the sensor to prevent detection instability.
Laser beams feature a concentrated spot and strong resistance to stray light, making them less susceptible to interference from environmental reflections, metallic gloss, or external light sources. When used with a mirror reflector, only light matched to the reflector returns to the receiver. This effectively minimizes false triggers, ensuring precise and reliable detection.
