Miniature linear displacement sensor has a measuring range of 10~300 mm. It operates on a potentiometer principle, outputting a stable DC voltage signal. The maximum allowable operating voltage is 24V DC, and the maximum operating speed is 10 m/s. SUCH displacement sensor has a compact structure and can be equipped with an external transmitter module to convert the signal into 0-5V, 0-10V, 4-20mA analog signals or RS485 digital signals, facilitating connection with various control systems. It is particularly suitable for applications with limited installation space, such as aircraft steering, ship steering, shoe machinery (upper and lower upper machines), injection molding machine ejector pin control, printing machinery, and paper packaging machinery.
When selecting a model, a certain margin should be reserved based on the actual stroke. It is recommended to choose a slightly larger range. Linear displacement sensors should be installed with the allowance evenly distributed across both ends of the stroke. Adjust to the appropriate position before tightening the mounting bracket to prevent mechanical jamming and ensure measurement stability.
The sensor must be wired correctly strictly according to the wiring instructions. Incorrect wiring may lead to abnormal sensor performance or even permanent damage.
During installation, a universal joint or hinged joint should be used, and proper alignment adjustments should be made. If both alignment and tilt deviations are large, it will significantly affect measurement stability and shorten the sensor's lifespan.
