Miniature φ3/M4/φ4/M5 miniature inductive proximity sensor is available with 0.6mm to 1.5mm measurement range, NPN normally open (NO) output mode, -25℃ to +70℃ operating temperature range and IP67 protection class. Its small size makes it particularly suitable for installation in confined spaces and can be easily integrated into mechanical equipment.

Feature

  • SUCH small inductive proximity sensor features short-circuit protection, overload protection, and reverse polarity protection. It operates stably within a DC 10–30V voltage range and has an IP67 protection rating, making it waterproof and dustproof, suitable for various outdoor and indoor working conditions.
  • It uses high-quality electronic components to ensure high detection accuracy and stable performance, and can detect objects within 0.6mm, with a response time of <0.5ms and a switching frequency of up to 2000Hz.

This mini inductive proximity sensor is designed for metal detection only. It can reliably detect ferrous metals such as iron and steel, and it can also detect non-ferrous metals like aluminum or copper, though the sensing distance may be reduced.

For φ3 and M4 models, the sensing distance is 0.6 mm, 0.8 mm, or 1 mm. For φ4 and M5 models, the sensing distance options are 0.8 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.2 mm, and up to 1.5 mm, depending on the specific model.

NPN NO (Normally Open) means the output transistor switches on when a metal target is detected, pulling the signal line to 0 V. When no target is present, the output remains open.
