    Radar water level sensor uses advanced non-contact radar technology and offers wide measuring ranges of 0-30m or 0-70m, with selectable outputs including 4–20mA, HART, and RS485/232, plus flexible DC or AC power options. With IP67 protection, the radar type transmitter can be installed easily for level monitoring in reservoirs, rivers, lakes, and water tanks.

    Radar level sensors generally do not require frequent calibration, as they are precisely calibrated before leaving the factory. If the measurement environment varies significantly, it is recommended to check it every six months to one year.

    Low dielectric constants weaken the reflected signal, affecting measurement stability. It is recommended to choose an 80GHz high-frequency radar, which has strong signal focusing and performs better for low dielectric liquids.

    Ordinary radar is significantly affected by foam, but high-frequency or FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) radar can penetrate foam layers to measure the true liquid level. If the foam is thick and dense, a guided wave radar transmitter can be considered as an alternative.
