    Overview

    Three-cup anemometer can measure wind speeds from 0 to 45 m/s, with a maximum wind speed of 50 m/s. It offers multiple output signals, including pulse, 4-20mA, 0-5V, and RS-485, and is powered by DC 5-24V or 12-24V. SUCH wind sensor utilizes electromagnetic induction, and its output signal is linearly related to the horizontal wind speed. It features high measurement accuracy, sensitive response, robust construction, and a wide operating temperature range (-40 to +50℃), making it widely used in meteorology, oceanography, environmental monitoring, airports, ports, laboratories, and industrial and agricultural fields.

    Feature

    • High-sensitivity 3-cup design for accurate wind speed measurement.
    • Carbon fiber wind cups with high strength and low starting threshold.
    • Built-in signal processing unit, integrated and waterproof (IP65) structure.
    • Flange installation with 5-pin waterproof connector and bottom wiring.
    • Suitable for meteorology, marine, environmental monitoring, and industrial/agricultural applications.

    Characteristic transfer function:

    F = 0, V = 0

    F ≠ 0, V = 0.1 + 0.0875 × F

    (where V = wind speed (m/s), F = output frequency (Hz)

    FAQ

    The three-cup design offers high sensitivity and fast response, accurately measuring horizontal wind speed. It maintains stable output even in changing wind directions or turbulent environments, exhibiting good linearity and repeatability.

    Yes. The sensor has an IP65 protection rating, and its housing is waterproof, dustproof, and corrosion-resistant, allowing it to operate stably for extended periods in harsh weather and complex environments (such as marine, coastal, and industrial areas).

    The sensor is based on the principle of electromagnetic induction, and the output signal has a linear relationship with wind speed. This means that as wind speed increases, the output voltage, current, or pulse frequency will increase proportionally, facilitating data analysis and calibration.
