Overview

Atmospheric pressure sensor measures absolute pressures in the 70-110 kPa range with an accuracy of ±0.05 kPa or ±0.25 kPa (referenced at 25℃). It uses an RS485 signal output, offers a fast response rate of up to 5 Hz, and has an temperature range of -40℃ to 60℃. Its housing is constructed of 304 stainless steel and features a neoprene seal, ensuring excellent durability and an IP67 rating. It supports a wide power supply range of 5~32 VDC and consumes extremely low power (maximum 0.015 W). SUCH pressure sensor can be used for environmental monitoring, industrial process control, and liquid level detection in water treatment.

Feature

  • The pressure sensor is compact and easy to install and remove.
  • It features a solid stainless-steel housing, offering excellent long-term stability.
  • Atmospheric pressure sensor uses a frequency cutoff design to effectively improve interference resistance.
  • The sensor features current limiting, voltage limiting, and reverse polarity protection, ensuring a safe and reliable circuit.
  • It supports a wide power supply range and utilizes nonlinear correction technology for higher measurement accuracy.

Wiring Diagram

Atmospheric pressure sensor wiring

Note: Circles represent shielded wires, and all marked grounding points must be effectively grounded. Shielded twisted pair signal cable is recommended. In order to avoid ground loops, the shield is grounded at one end, insulated and floating at the transmitter end, and grounded at the control cabinet end.

FAQ

An atmospheric pressure sensor is a device used to measure ambient air pressure, typically displaying results in Pascals (Pa) or millibars (hPa). It is widely used in fields such as meteorological observation, environmental monitoring, and industrial process control, providing data by monitoring changes in air pressure.

Before installation, ensure that the interfaces and piping are clean to prevent contaminants from affecting accuracy. During installation, avoid excessive torque or impact, and check that the sealing ring is properly seated.

Atmospheric pressure sensors utilize nonlinear correction technology, resulting in high measurement accuracy and meeting the requirements of applications requiring high real-time performance and reliability.
