Overview

Electrode level sensor operates with 240VAC/24VDC 5A and SPDT contact, with optional 220V AC or 24V AC power supply. Wetted materials include stainless steel or other options. This conductivity level sensor reliably measures liquid levels for precise control in diverse industrial environments.

Feature

  • Electrode level sensor can monitor the liquid level of all conductive liquids, but should not be used with volatile liquids.
  • Conductivity level sensor is equipped with surge protection, which effectively guards against voltage spikes and electrical interference.
  • It supports multi-point level control with customizable positions according to user requirements.
  • The electrode tip operates at low AC voltage to prevent electrolysis and prolong its lifespan.
  • Two indicator lights provide a clear status for water supply and drainage operations.

Note*

  1. This electrode level sensor is designed for vertical installation only.
  2. The operating voltage should remain within Β±15% of the rated value and must be stable.
  3. Do not install the sensor in areas with strong vibrations or impacts, as this may cause malfunctions.
  4. This level sensor is unsuitable for non-conductive liquids such as gasoline, diesel, heavy oil, or pure water.
  5. All electrode poles must be spaced at least 50mm apart from the longest pole.
  6. The sensor’s response may vary depending on the type of liquid and fluctuations in power supply voltage.
  7. To prevent electrode rods from touching each other in water, you can wrap insulating tape around the rod, but only on the section at least 100mm behind the tip.

FAQ
❯

Electrode level sensors are suitable for conductive liquids, such as water, acid and alkali solutions, and salt water. Their effectiveness is limited for non-conductive liquids such as oils, requiring the selection of other types of level sensors.

❯

The sensor detects the liquid level by utilizing the liquid's conductivity. When the liquid contacts the electrode, a current loop is formed, triggering a switching signal, thus achieving liquid level monitoring.

❯

During installation, the electrode should be kept vertical or fixed to avoid collisions, bending, or short circuits. It is also important to ensure that the electrode length matches the liquid level in the container to guarantee accurate measurements.
