Overview

This hydrostatic pressure liquid level sensor is designed for settlement monitoring using a diffused silicon core, delivering accuracy up to 0.05% FS with excellent stability and low temperature drift. It supports RS485 output, operates on a 5-28 VDC power supply, and works reliably with water, antifreeze, and silicone oil across a temperature range of -40 °C to 60 °C. With an IP66 protection rating and a user-friendly hose lead-out design, it is suitable for harsh environments such as dams, bridges, mines, and wind power plants.

FAQ

A hydrostatic level transmitter calculates the liquid level by measuring the static pressure exerted by the liquid on the bottom of the sensor. Its principle is simple and reliable, suitable for various media such as water, oil, and chemical liquids, and can be used in both closed and open containers.

Measurement accuracy is mainly affected by changes in liquid density, temperature, installation height, and the sensor's own accuracy. When the density is unstable, temperature compensation or a sensor with intelligent calibration can be considered.

Common signs of damage include severe zero drift, unstable output signal, and readings that remain unchanged for extended periods or fluctuate wildly. This can be determined by comparing the calibration value with the actual liquid level.
