FAQ

Generally, they are unaffected by foam, bubbles, and steam because the significant difference in light refractive index prevents false triggering. However, if the foam is particularly thick and tightly wraps around the probe, it may cause false readings. High-temperature steam may also cause condensation to adhere to the probe, requiring anti-condensation treatment.

They can usually be installed in any direction, but vertical installation is recommended to reduce bubble adhesion. During installation, avoid placing the probe tip directly against the container wall or allowing excessive fluid flow velocity, as this can affect stability. If used in pipelines or small spaces, ensure sufficient contact between the probe tip and the liquid.

Photoelectric level sensors primarily rely on optical principles and are not sensitive to electromagnetic interference. No additional shielding is required under normal conditions. However, if installed near strong electromagnetic equipment, such as high-power frequency converters or welding machines, it is recommended to use shielded cables and proper wiring to improve stability.
