Installation Notes

  1. The angle sensor must be coaxially connected to the measured device to significantly improve measurement accuracy and service life.
  2. During installation, the connection hole between the sensor shaft and the device should have a sliding fit tolerance; forceful hammering or excessive force during installation is strictly prohibited.
  3. The sensor shaft and user-end output are recommended to be connected using a flexible coupling.
  4. The sensor shaft must be coaxial with the user's rotor. During installation, first secure the shaft, then tighten the screws on the sensor flange or end cap.
  5. To align the mechanical center point with the electrical center point during the installation process, first secure the shaft and place it at the marked position where detection is required. Loosely tighten the screws of the flange or end cover, rotate the sensor housing, and use a multimeter to align with the measurement center point (recommended) (or starting point) corresponding to the output current value, then fully tighten the screws. Re-inspect for correct alignment, and installation is complete.
  6. It is recommended to use a hollow shaft-type angle sensor, which can better ensure installation concentricity.

FAQ

A hall effect angle sensor measures rotational angle by detecting changes in magnetic fields, and is widely used in motor control, steering wheel angle detection, and robot joint positioning. It provides continuous, non-contact angle output, avoiding mechanical wear and ensuring long-term stability and high precision.

Angle sensors feature non-contact measurement, high resolution, and strong interference resistance, enabling reliable operation in high-temperature, vibration, and electromagnetic noise environments. Compared to traditional potentiometers, hall effect angle sensors have a longer service life and are suitable for industrial automation, automotive electronics, and medical devices.

  • In automobiles, hall effect angle sensors can be used for throttle pedals, steering systems, and transmission control.
  • In industrial equipment, magnetic angle sensors enable precise angle feedback for servo motors.
  • In consumer electronics and robots, angle sensors assist in precise positioning and motion control, enhancing operational efficiency and safety.
