    Working Principle

    Magnetic angle sensor working principle

The angle sensor utilizes the Hall effect principle and employs a core control unit. It primarily detects angle changes by installing a grating on the axis and cutting the magnetic field through the rotation of the axis. The core design utilizes an independent sensor chip based on TriagisTm (three-axis Hall) technology, which is programmable. The angle is calculated by amplifying and filtering the capacitance measurement.

    FAQ

Magnetic angle sensors are widely used in industrial automation, robot joint position detection, automotive steering angle monitoring, and wind turbine yaw systems. Their magnetic induction principle enables stable operation in harsh environments, resisting dust, oil contamination, and vibrations, making them ideal for long-term, precise monitoring of rotational angles.

This angle sensor typically features high resolution and low angular error, maintaining stable output over extended periods of operation. It employs a non-contact measurement method, minimizing mechanical wear, and is not significantly affected by environmental factors such as temperature and humidity, thereby ensuring the reliability of measurement data.

During installation, the angle sensor must be properly aligned and securely mounted relative to the target shaft, avoiding strong magnetic interference. Maintenance is generally minimal due to its non-contact measurement structure, requiring only periodic checks of the installation status and electrical connections to ensure stable operation.
