RS-485 output: The black and white lines A and B must not be reversed and A and B cannot be short-circuited with the power line "﹢, -".
Analog output: The gray line "Ia" cannot be short-circuited with the power line "﹢, -". There is a small shielded wire, which shall not be in short-circuit connection with the analog output wire, but recommended to be grounded or not grounded.

industrial laser distance sensor is spot‑on

picked up this industrial laser distance sensor, 30mm for our packaging‑line position checks. its small laser spot handles tiny target parts really well. the oled display makes on‑site tweaks straightforward. rs485 modbus integration went smooth. readings drift a little under strong shop‑floor lighting, nothing we couldn’t compensate for. overall it fits our precision‑check needs.
