    FAQ

Common causes of measurement fluctuations or jumps in a linear displacement sensor include unstable supply voltage, insufficient power capacity, electrostatic or high-frequency interference, poor alignment during installation, damaged cables, and sensor aging.

The supply voltage for a linear displacement sensor must remain stable. For industrial applications, a stability of ±0.1% or better is recommended. The power source must also have sufficient capacity to avoid voltage fluctuations caused by load changes (e.g., solenoid valve operation), which may lead to abnormal measurement readings.

If the power and signal wires of a linear displacement sensor are connected incorrectly, it may result in reduced measurement accuracy or signal fluctuations. In severe cases, the sensor can be damaged instantly. Wiring must strictly follow the product labeling.
