Overview

SUCH pressure sensor, equipped with the 2088 probe, can withstand long-term use in humid or harsh environments. It covers a measurement range of -0.1 to 60 MPa (-1 to 600 bar/-14 to 8702 psi), operates in a medium temperature range of -40~60°C (-40~+140°F), supports multiple output signals (4-20mA, 0-5V, 1-5V, 0-10V, RS485), and accepts power supplies of DC 12 V, 24 V, and 12-36V. The pressure transducer features a 200% FS overload capacity and a 5 kHz to 650 kHz frequency response. A variety of pressure port sizes are available (G1/4, G1/2, 1/4 NPT, 1/2 NPT, M14×1.5, and M20×1.5). It is widely used in process control, chemical, petroleum, and metallurgical industries.

When a differential pressure transducer works with an orifice plate to measure flow, blockage or severe leakage of the high-pressure line can cause the negative chamber pressure to exceed the positive chamber, resulting in an output lower than 4mA. Draining, clearing the pipes, or sealing leaks can restore normal output. Reverse connection of high/low pressure ports will also cause this issue, which can be fixed by selecting reverse output in the smart transducer’s parameter settings.

Unstable output is often caused by vibration, strong electromagnetic interference, or loose wiring. Proper grounding, firm installation, and shielded cables are recommended.

It supports a variety of port sizes (G1/4, G1/2, 1/4NPT, 1/2NPT, M14×1.5, M20×1.5). You can select the appropriate model based on your piping needs.
