SUCH load cell transmitters feature TEDS automatic load cell calibration, have dual RS232 and RS485 communication interfaces, provide 5V DC ±2%, 100mA excitation, and ensure 1/10,000 accuracy.

    TEDS function: The sensor parameters are recorded by the chip, and the instrument reads the parameters and calibrates automatically. Automatic calibration is only possible when both the instrument and the sensor have the "TEDS" function.

    TEDS is the Transducer Electronic Data Sheet, a non-volatile memory compliant with the IEEE 1451.4 standard for storing technical information such as type of load cell, description of the interface, sensitivity, type of bridge, excitation, etc., as well as calibration data.

     

    If TEDS fails, the load cell transmitter will usually still work, but it may lose some of the advantages offered by TEDS, such as plug-and-play functionality and automatic calibration. It may be necessary to manually configure the load cell information and perform calibration operations.
