load cell controller is a good choice

I use this controller with a load cell for basic weight monitoring. The load cell controller has a straightforward design and the installation was pretty simple. It took a few adjustments to get the parameters right, but that is normal with weighing equipment. So far it has been reliable and does the job for my needs.
