Overview

SUCH plate-ring type tension and compression load cell is manufactured from high-strength alloy steel. Its compact and robust structure offers high precision, strong overload capacity, and excellent protection (IP67). With a measuring range of 2 to 100 tons, it can withstand both tension and compression, making it suitable for measuring and controlling hook scales, cranes, and lifting equipment in ports and terminals. Mounting holes are provided at both ends of the cell for direct wire rope lashing, ensuring easy installation and safe and reliable operation. The operating temperature range is -20℃ to +65℃, and custom ranges can be customized according to customer needs.

After purchasing one SUCH load cell, you can buy a special digital panel meter to obtain readings directly, or buy a transmitter to output standard signal to PLC, DCS and other systems. Customized output signal of load cell transmitter is 0-5V, 0-10V, or 4-20mA.

Note: The load cell cannot be connected to both the transmitter and the controller at the same time — only one can be selected.

This sensor operates based on the principle of strain gauge measurement. When an external force acts on the elastic element of the plate-ring structure, the internal strain gauge deforms and changes its resistance. A Wheatstone bridge circuit converts this resistance change into an electrical signal, outputting a voltage signal proportional to the applied force, enabling accurate measurement of tension or compression.

It is widely used in hook scales, cranes, port and terminal lifting equipment, tension testing systems, industrial weighing and process control, and stress monitoring of ship and bridge structures.

The plate-ring structure is compact and sturdy, capable of simultaneously withstanding tension and compression, with high rigidity and excellent linearity. The double-plate-hole design facilitates installation, allows for direct wire rope tying, and provides a stable and reliable structure.
