Online turbidity sensor is based on the principle of light scattering and employs an infrared LED light source and fiber optic transmission path design, exhibiting excellent resistance to external light interference. SUCH turbidity sensor has a built-in temperature compensation module, enabling long-term stable online monitoring in environments ranging from 0~50℃. It supports RS485 (MODBUS/RTU) communication, has an IP68 protection rating, and can be used continuously at water depths up to 20 meters, making it suitable for conventional water turbidity monitoring scenarios.
Note: Install the sensor in an area with slow-flowing, bubble-free water; keep the sensor 5cm away from the surrounding walls.
The sensor uses the light scattering principle with an infrared LED light source to measure turbidity accurately and reliably.
The sensor should be fully immersed in the water to be measured, avoiding air bubbles, sediment accumulation, or strong water flow directly impacting the probe.
Temperature may influence optical measurements, but the built-in temperature sensor provides automatic temperature compensation to ensure stable readings.
