Water turbidity sensor probe employs the 90° scattering light method and supports RS485 (ModBus-RTU) communication. It enables continuous and accurate monitoring of water turbidity, with selectable measurement ranges of 0~50/200/1000/4000 NTU and a resolution up to 0.1 NTU. SUCH turbidity sensor has a response time of approximately 30 seconds and is suitable for various scenarios including agricultural water use, industrial discharge, mine wastewater, aquaculture, surface water monitoring, and end-of-pipe treatment of domestic sewage. It operates stably in environments ranging from 0~50℃ and <0.6MPa.
Note: Avoid installing the measuring device in areas with strong water flow to minimize the impact of water bubbles on the measurement. Keep the measuring probe 5cm away from the bottom.
It uses the 90° scattered light method. When a light beam enters the water sample, suspended particles cause the light to scatter. The sensor measures the scattered light intensity at a 90° angle to the incident beam and compares it with internal calibration values. After linear processing, it calculates and outputs the final turbidity value.
1. It is recommended to clean the sensor probe every 30 days to remove any attached substances.
2. Avoid using hard objects during cleaning to prevent scratching the probe’s optical surfaces.
3. Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth.
It is ideal for agricultural water, industrial wastewater, aquaculture, surface water monitoring, and sewage treatment.
