    The core of a strain gauge torque sensor is to utilize the strain effect and the correlation between torque and strain to achieve measurement. Strain gauges are attached to the surface of the sensor's force-bearing component. When torque is applied, the elastic shaft undergoes torsional deformation. This deformation causes the metal wire of the strain gauge to lengthen or shorten, resulting in a change in its resistance. The strain gauges form a Wheatstone bridge, and the change in resistance is converted into a measurable voltage signal. Finally, signal processing is used to calculate the magnitude of the torque.

    strain gauge torque sensor is a reliable option
    picked up a strain gauge torque sensor for monitoring torque on a rotating assembly. the compact structure made it easier to install without changing much of the existing setup. readings are stable and repeatable during operation. I had to adjust the calibration values before use, but the sensor has been performing well for ongoing testing work.
