Q1: What media can an ultrasonic tank level sensor measure? ❯

An ultrasonic tank level sensor can measure water, sewage, oil, fuel, chemical liquids, slurries, and some solids (such as powders and grains), but the surface must be able to effectively reflect sound waves.

Q2: How to determine the installation height of an ultrasonic tank level sensor? ❯

It should be installed above the maximum liquid level, with a blind zone provided. Measurements cannot be taken if the sensor is 0.3-0.6m below the probe. This distance should be considered when selecting a sensor.

Q3: Will the ultrasonic tank level sensor be affected by wind, dust, and sunlight? ❯

When installed outdoors, strong winds and dust can interfere with the echo, so it is recommended to add a windproof cover or protective tube; sunlight mainly affects the temperature of the housing, so a sunshade can be used for protection.
