    Overview

High-quality compression load cells for sale online, with measuring ranges of 20 ton, 30 ton, 50 ton,100 ton, 150 ton and 200 ton available. SUCH compression weigh cell features a columnar design and a 10V DC power supply. The column type load cell offers strong resistance to mechanical fatigue and overload, and can operate in temperatures ranging from -20℃~+65℃. SUCH compression load cells are widely used in large-tonnage measurement equipment, such as pharmaceuticals and chemicals, coal and metallurgy, electronic truck scales, railroad scales, warehouse scales, and tanks.

After purchasing one SUCH load cell, you can buy a special digital panel meter to obtain readings directly, or buy a transmitter to output standard signal to PLC, DCS and other systems. Customized output signal is 0-5V, 0-10V, or 4-20mA.

Note: The load cell cannot be connected to both the transmitter and the controller at the same time — only one can be selected.

    Feature

    • Made of 42CrMo alloy, these compression load cells feature a columnar design, offering strong resistance to mechanical fatigue and a high load capacity.
    • Compression load cell sensors are meticulously crafted using advanced grinding technology, resulting in a smooth, precise design and efficient installation.
    • The column-type compression load cells offer stable output, reliable signal transmission, and strong anti-interference capabilities, ensuring high measurement accuracy.

    FAQ

Yes, load cells have a clear risk of overloading. The safe overload is typically 120-150% of the rated capacity. Exceeding 150% of the rated load can permanently damage the internal strain gauge or elastomer, leading to zero drift, decreased linearity, or even complete failure.

    • A 4-wire system has four wires: red (+Ex), black (-Ex), green (+Sig), and white (-Sig). The power supply and signal are independent.
    • A 6-wire system has six wires, with the addition of yellow (+Sen) and blue (-Sen) compared to the 4-wire system. It also includes sense line compensation to offset long-distance cable losses.
    • A column load cell uses a cylindrical or square elastomer that bears pressure vertically and has a larger measuring range.
    • An S-type load cell senses force through bending deformation and can measure both tension and compression, but its measuring range is generally smaller.
