FAQ

Industrial RGB color sensors are widely used in industries such as printing, packaging, plastics, textiles, and food processing. Their primary function is to detect color marks on products or distinguish objects of different colors. On automated production lines, they accurately identify labels, color marks, fonts, and surface color variations, enabling automated positioning, sorting, and quality control. Featuring high-speed response and anti-interference design, these sensors are well-suited for high-speed assembly lines and complex industrial environments, ensuring production stability and consistency.

Industrial RGB color sensors offer higher precision and stability compared to standard models. Utilizing red, green, and blue light sources combined with optical filtering and digital algorithms, they effectively identify target colors even in complex backgrounds. They feature faster response times and broader detection ranges, while supporting NPN/PNP outputs for seamless integration with PLCs and industrial controllers. Standard sensors are typically used in educational or simple DIY color sensor projects, whereas industrial-grade products are engineered for harsh environments, emphasizing long-term reliable operation

Yes. Industrial RGB color sensors identify colors by detecting how an object's surface reflects different light sources. Whether the target is paper, plastic, metal, or fabric, stable detection is achievable as long as surface color variations exist. Sensors typically support sensitivity adjustment to adapt to transparent, glossy, or rough materials. Additionally, some models feature anti-background interference capabilities, maintaining recognition accuracy even in complex production line environments to ensure reliable differentiation of targets across various materials.
