This CO₂ air quality sensor supports Modbus-RS485 communication for seamless integration into automation projects. It stably monitors CO₂ concentrations within the 400–5000ppm range with a resolution as high as 1ppm. Featuring DC10–30V power supply and ultra-low power consumption ≤200mA, paired with a flame-retardant ABS housing and duct-mounted installation, it is suitable for long-term continuous operation.
A carbon dioxide air quality sensor measures the concentration of carbon dioxide in the air, typically expressed in parts per million (ppm). It helps assess ventilation efficiency, indoor air quality, and potential health risks associated with elevated carbon dioxide levels in homes, offices, factories, or agricultural environments.
Most CO₂ sensors achieve an accuracy of ±(50 ppm + 5%) under standard conditions. High-end non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) sensors offer long-term stability, low drift characteristics, and strong resistance to interference from humidity and temperature fluctuations.
To ensure detection accuracy, air quality sensors should be mounted at breathing height, away from doors, windows, air conditioning units, and direct sunlight. Avoid installation in corners or enclosed spaces to prevent stagnant air accumulation.
