Its core advantages include flexible installation, moderate detection range, and sensitivity to color, material, and surface texture. It is commonly used in industrial automation for object counting, position detection, and conveyor line control.

    Diffuse photoelectric sensors are suitable for most reflective targets, including packaging boxes, plastic bottles, paper, metal parts, and transparent objects. Different materials, colors, and surface gloss levels affect reflection intensity. Therefore, sensors typically feature sensitivity adjustment capabilities to adapt to various application environments. For black, rough, or weakly reflective objects, detection stability can be enhanced by adjusting sensitivity or selecting an enhanced diffuse reflection model. This ensures reliable response even in complex operating conditions.

    Detection distance is primarily influenced by object color, material, surface gloss, and external light interference. Generally, light colors and highly reflective materials achieve longer detection distances, while dark colors and rough surfaces reduce effective range. For stable detection, sensitivity should be adjusted at the actual installation location, and direct strong light should be avoided.
