    The SUCH microwave radar sensor for lighting is a 5.8GHz motion detection switch designed for automatic lighting and load control. Using Doppler microwave technology, it provides a 0–16m adjustable sensing range with a 170° detection angle per sensor, reaching up to 360° coverage when ceiling-mounted. Available with 10A or 16A relay options, it supports incandescent, CFL, LED, LED strip, and other connected loads. Adjustable sensing distance, delay time, and photocell settings make it suitable for corridors, stairwells, parking garages, warehouses, and restrooms.

    Installation

    Installing microwave sensors for lighting step by step

    1. Cutout: Cut a Φ70–75 mm ceiling hole.
    2. Wiring: Connect wires according to the wiring diagram.
    3. Insert: Place the sensor into the ceiling opening with spring clips aligned.
    4. Fixing: Release the spring clips to secure the sensor.

    Notes:

    • Follow the wiring diagram exactly; identify the live, neutral, and control wires before connecting.
    • Keep the sensing area clear of continuously moving objects, such as fans or air conditioner airflow.
    • Do not install outdoors — the switch is not waterproof, and outdoor conditions can cause false triggering.
    • Keep away from strong electromagnetic sources, such as radio transmitters, two-way radios, antennas, or routers.
    • Install in an open area whenever possible; obstructions can reduce sensing distance and coverage.
    • Sensing through thin walls, glass, acrylic, or drywall will reduce the effective sensing distance.

    microwave radar sensor for lighting is simple
    grabbed this microwave radar sensor for lighting to replace old pir units in our underground car park. wiring took me a little while to get right following the diagrams. photocell function works as expected, lights stay off during bright daylight. detection angle covers most of the space. sensing distance drops a bit through thin drywall, which is worth keeping in mind. solid for commercial lighting control.
