The SUCH doppler microwave occupancy sensor is a 24GHz radar-based lighting control switch designed to detect both motion and stationary human presence within a 130° detection angle. Unlike conventional PIR sensors, it uses active microwave detection to sense subtle movements such as chest expansion during breathing, eliminating false shutoffs when a person remains still in the coverage area. Configurable via a 6-position DIP switch, it supports adjustable sensing range (25%–100%), delay time (5 seconds to 5 minutes), light-control threshold, and indicator behavior. It is suited for switching incandescent, CFL, LED, and LED strip loads in residential, commercial, and industrial lighting circuits, including fire-alarm-linked emergency lighting applications.

- 10A/30A Relay Load Options: 10A supports up to 1000W incandescent / 400W CFL / 200W LED / 5m LED strip; 30A supports up to 5000W incandescent / 1500W CFL / 800W LED / 15m LED strip.
- Fire Linkage Override: Accepts auxiliary fire alarm signal input for forced-on operation.
- DIP Switch Configuration: All key parameters set via physical switches, no programming required.

Wiring

Note: Fully automatic operation — lights turn on when presence is detected and off after the delay. Ideal for corridors and stairwells.

Note: Adds a wall switch for manual override — turn it off to disable the sensor, or on to resume automatic detection. Great for bedrooms and office entrances.

Note: Connects to a fire alarm circuit to force the light on during emergencies, overriding normal sensing. Designed for fire-code compliant areas like stairwells and exits.
DIP Switch Settings

- Detection Distance Setting: Switches 1 and 2 are used to adjust the detection distance. Four distance levels are available: 100%, 75%, 50%, and 25%.
- Hold Time Setting: Switches 3 and 4 adjust the hold time after detection. Available settings include 5s, 30s, 1min, and 5min.
- Indicator Light Setting: Switch 5 controls the indicator light function. Select ON to enable the indicator light or OFF to disable it.
- Daylight Threshold Setting: Switch 6 adjusts the daylight detection mode. Select Dusk-to-Dawn mode for low-light activation or Daylight mode for operation under all lighting conditions.
Installation

Steps:
- Secure the mounting base to the ceiling with screws.
- Wire the switch and light fixture according to the wiring diagram — for safety, installation should be performed by a qualified electrician.
- Align the switch upward with the base slot, then rotate left to lock it in place.
Detection
Note: Detection range may vary depending on target size, material, and reflectivity (RCS). The sensor can detect motion through common non-metal materials such as glass or thin plastic panels, but not through thick walls or metal doors.
