Yes. It accepts both AC and DC voltage inputs. The input type and range are specified at the time of order, from nine options between 0–75mV and 0–500V.

Q2: What is the difference between a standard and True RMS voltage transducer? ❯

The standard version outputs a signal based on average-value measurement. The True RMS version calculates the actual root mean square value, which gives accurate results when the input waveform contains harmonic distortion. True RMS is a separate order option.

Q3: Which output type should I select for a 4-20mA voltage transducer vs. a voltage output model? ❯

4-20mA and 0-20mA current outputs are less affected by signal loss over longer cable runs. 0-5V and 0-10V voltage outputs connect directly to standard PLC analog inputs, but require a DC 24V auxiliary supply. Current output variants accept both DC 12V and DC 24V.

this ac dc voltage transducer fits our control cabinet

picked up an ac dc voltage transducer for upgrading an electrical control panel. the compact size made installation easier, and it worked well with our existing PLC system. I spent some time checking the accuracy during the first few days, and the readings stayed within the expected range. overall, it has been a reliable component for voltage conversion tasks.
