    Overview

An AC/DC Hall Effect voltage sensor is a galvanically isolated voltage transducer that measures both AC and DC voltages from 100V to 4000V and converts them into a proportional 50mA output signal for voltage monitoring, protection, and control systems. Based on Hall effect technology, it provides full electrical isolation between primary and secondary circuits with up to 12kV RMS isolation, ensuring safe operation in high-voltage environments without direct electrical contact. The SUCH isolated voltage sensor operates from −40°C to +85°C with a hermetically sealed PBT housing and a response time within 200μs, making it suitable for solar power systems, PLC control panels, power distribution networks, and industrial automation applications.

    Feature

    • AC and DC voltage measurement: Supports AC and DC voltage input from 100V to 4000V within a single device, with selectable power supply of DC ±12V, ±15V, or ±24V.
    • Galvanic isolation up to 12kV RMS: Primary and secondary circuits are fully isolated, rated at 12kV RMS for 1 minute at 50Hz.
    • 200μs response time: Signal output responds within 200μs, suitable for real-time voltage monitoring and fault detection in dynamic power systems.
    • Wide operating temperature: Rated from -40°C to +85°C, with a hermetically sealed PBT housing for outdoor and harsh industrial environments.
    • 0.5% accuracy with ≤0.1% linearity: Maintains consistent readings across the full 100V to 4000V measuring range.
    • MTBF exceeding 50,000 hours: Designed for continuous operation under rated conditions in long-term industrial deployments.

    FAQ

Yes. The AC/DC Hall effect voltage sensor supports both AC and DC high voltage measurement from 1500V to 2000V within a single unit, with a 50mA output signal and isolation voltage rated at 10kV RMS.

Two power supply options are available — DC 24V for the single-supply model, and DC ±12V or ±15V for the dual-supply model. The choice depends on the output signal type needed (DC 50mA or AC/DC ±50mA).

The sensor operates between -25°C and +70°C, features a hermetically sealed fire-retardant ABS housing, and carries an IP20 protection rating, making it suitable for use in demanding industrial conditions.
