    Overview

SUCH safety cut-off limit switch is designed for travel limit control and safety cut-off applications in cranes, electric hoists, and other lifting equipment. It supports AC 380 V/DC 220 V rated voltage and can control motors with a maximum power of 7.5 kW/13 kW, with a conventional thermal current of 20 A/40 A. With an IP44 protection class and a rated operating frequency of up to 600 cycles per hour, the safety limit switch provides reliable switching performance for lifting and material handling equipment. And it can provide good electrical conductivity for reliable operation with copper contacts.

    Feature

    • Reinforced Rubber Cable Entry: Helps protect the wiring connection from dust and water.
    • Sealed Base: Rubber sealing ring provides protection against water and dust.
    • Smooth Metal Push Rod: Provides smooth movement, higher load capacity, and responsive actuation.
    • Stable Internal Structure: Refined construction with copper contacts for reliable switching and good electrical conductivity.

    FAQ
    āÆ

When the moving equipment reaches the specified travel position, the switch is mechanically actuated and changes the electrical contact state, sending a signal to the control system or stopping the corresponding operation.

    āÆ

They are commonly used in cranes, electric hoists, lifting equipment, material handling machinery, and other industrial equipment requiring travel limit control.

    āÆ

A limit switch helps control the travel range of lifting equipment and can prevent continued movement after a preset mechanical limit is reached.

Can the safety limit switch be used for an electric hoist?
I’m looking for a limit switch for an electric hoist to stop the travel at a set position. Would this one work for that?
A manager responded to this review
Yes, it is designed for travel limit control on electric hoists and other lifting equipment.
