    Overview

The SUCH true RMS voltage sensor measures AC and DC voltages from 75mV to 500V and converts them into standard 4–20mA or 0–20mA current outputs for PLC, SCADA, and industrial automation systems. True RMS measurement ensures accurate monitoring of both sinusoidal and distorted waveforms, making it ideal for VFDs, SCR-controlled equipment, and power distribution applications. Featuring 1.5kV three-way galvanic isolation, it provides reliable long-distance signal transmission with improved noise immunity and fault detection for industrial control systems.

    Feature

    • True RMS Measurement
Measures both sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal waveforms accurately, giving consistent readings in VFD and SCR environments where average-responding sensors produce errors.
    • AC and DC Voltage Input
Accepts AC or DC signals from 75mV to 500V, covering a wide range of industrial voltage levels without requiring separate devices.
    • 4-20mA Output
Current loop output maintains signal integrity over long cable runs and is less affected by electrical noise compared to voltage output.
    • Open-Circuit Fault Detection
A signal drop below 4mA indicates a wiring fault or open circuit, enabling connected PLCs and monitoring systems to detect transmission errors automatically.
    • 3-Way Galvanic Isolation
Input, output, and power supply are independently isolated at DC 1.5kV, protecting control systems from electrical surges and ground noise.
    • DIN Rail Mounting
Compact design installs on standard DIN rail, integrating alongside other control components in existing cabinet layouts.

    FAQ

Yes. The sensor accepts both AC and DC voltage inputs from 75mV to 500V, covering a wide range of industrial power systems without requiring separate devices for each signal type.

Available output options are DC 4-20mA or 0-20mA, depending on the model selected. Both are standard current loop signals compatible with PLCs, DCS, SCADA systems, and most industrial data acquisition equipment.

Current loop signals maintain accuracy over longer cable distances and are less susceptible to electrical noise than voltage output signals. A 4-20mA signal also allows connected systems to detect open-circuit or wiring faults when the signal drops below 4mA.
