    Overview

The SUCH WiFi mmWave human presence sensor is a 5.8GHz radar-based sensor that detects human occupancy through regular motion, micro-motion, and breathing- or heartbeat-level micro-movement, supporting reliable static presence recognition. It offers a detection distance of up to 6m with a detection angle of over 90°, plus a built-in 0–3000Lux illuminance sensor and adjustable sensitivity and detection distance settings for indoor lighting automation. Powered through a Type-C DC5V/1A input and rated for -10℃ to 55℃ operation, it suits WiFi-connected smart home and building automation systems.

    Feature

    • 5.8GHz mmWave Radar – Detects regular motion, micro-motion, and breathing/heartbeat-level movement for accurate human presence sensing.
    • 0–6m Detection Range, >90° Angle – Wide-angle, long-distance coverage supports flexible mounting positions in indoor spaces.
    • Static Presence Recognition – Identifies stationary occupants through breathing and micro-motion signals, reducing false "unoccupied" readings and unwanted light shutoff.
    • Built-in Illuminance Sensor (0–3000Lux) – Provides ambient light data directly, supporting light-level-based automation without an added sensor.
    • Adjustable Sensitivity and Detection Distance – Configurable settings let the sensor be tuned for different room sizes and installation conditions.
    • Material Penetration – Detects through insulating materials such as fabric, plastic, and glass, giving flexibility in sensor placement.
    • WiFi Connectivity, Type-C DC5V/1A Power – Connects directly to WiFi networks with a standard Type-C power input for straightforward installation.
    • Environmental Adaptability, -10℃ to 55℃ – Unaffected by temperature changes, heat sources, light sources, and air currents, supporting consistent operation across varied indoor environments.

    FAQ

Yes. This WiFi mmWave human presence sensor can detect static presence through micro-motion signals, including subtle movements such as breathing. Unlike traditional motion sensors that mainly detect movement, mmWave radar technology can identify occupied spaces even when a person remains still.

A PIR motion sensor detects changes in infrared radiation caused by moving people, while a mmWave presence sensor uses radar signals to detect both movement and static presence. The mmWave sensor can detect micro-motions and stationary occupants, making it suitable for applications such as smart lighting and occupancy detection.

The sensor provides a detection distance of up to 6m with a detection angle of over 90°. The sensitivity and detection distance can be adjusted to match different room layouts and installation conditions.
