    Overview

The SUCH active and reactive power transducer is a dual-function measurement device that converts three-phase active and reactive power signals into standard analog outputs for continuous power monitoring. Suitable for both 3-Phase 3-Wire and 3-Phase 4-Wire systems, it accepts AC voltage inputs from 57.7V up to 660V and current inputs from 1A to 20A, with selectable accuracy classes of 0.2 or 0.5 and a response time of ≤400ms. By combining active and reactive power measurement in a single unit, it reduces panel space, simplifies wiring, and lowers the cost of deploying separate sensors for each parameter. It is commonly used in switchgear panels, substations, energy management systems, and industrial power monitoring applications where simultaneous active and reactive power data is required.

Note: This power transducer measures both active and reactive power in 3-phase 3-wire or 3-phase 4-wire AC systems.

    Feature

    • Measures active and reactive power simultaneously in 3-Phase 3-Wire or 3-Phase 4-Wire configurations, removing the need for two separate transducers on the same panel.
    • Accepts AC voltage inputs from 57.7V to 660V and current inputs from 1A to 20A (customizable), covering a wide range of standard CT/PT secondary ratings.
    • Delivers 0.2 or 0.5 class accuracy with a response time of ≤400ms, ensuring timely signal conversion for monitoring and control applications.
    • Withstands overload up to 2Ɨ rated voltage and current continuously, and 10Ɨ rated current for 10 seconds, maintaining stable operation during transient power system disturbances.
    • Offers configurable output channels (1 to 4) with 0-10V, 0-5V, 1-5V, 0/4-20mA, or RS485 signal options, easing integration with PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems.
    • Isolates input, output, power supply, and enclosure from one another, reducing electrical coupling between circuits and improving overall system safety.
    • Limits input burden to ≤0.1VA on the voltage circuit and ≤0.2VA on the current circuit, reducing the burden on connected CT/PT circuits.
    • Mounts on a standard 35mm DIN rail or panel surface, simplifying installation in existing switchgear and control cabinets.

    Calibration Instructions

Calibration instructions for the active and reactive power transducer.

    PWR: Power indicator
    SPAN: Full-scale calibration potentiometer
    ZERO: Zero calibration potentiometer

Note: The calibration potentiometers are intended for instrument calibration only. Adjustment by unqualified personnel is prohibited.

    Calibration Procedure

    • Zero calibration: Set the input signal to zero, then adjust the ZERO potentiometer on the front panel until the output reaches the lower scale value, such as 0V or 4mA.
    • Full-scale calibration: Apply the rated input signal, then adjust the SPAN potentiometer until the output reaches the full-scale value, such as 10V or 20mA.
