    Overview

The SUCH DC current transducer converts a 0–1A, 0–5A, 0–10A, or 75mV DC input into a proportional, isolated voltage, current, or RS485 output for current measurement and monitoring in DC power systems. It provides Class 0.2 or 0.5 accuracy, a response time of ≤400ms, and isolation between the input, output, and power supply, with an AC 2kVrms/1 min withstand voltage. Weighing approximately 300g, the compact unit can be installed on a 35mm DIN rail or secured with base screws in control panels and switchgear. This dc current power transducer is commonly used for solar and battery monitoring, DC motor and drive protection, railway traction systems, and DC distribution panels.

Note: This current transducer measures DC current for monitoring and control of DC power systems.

    Feature

    • The available 0–1A, 0–5A, 0–10A, and 75mV input ranges accommodate different DC current measurement requirements, making it easier to select a suitable range for the monitored circuit.
    • With Class 0.2 or 0.5 accuracy, the transducer provides consistent signal conversion for DC current metering and monitoring.
    • A response time of ≤400ms allows the output signal to follow changes in the measured DC current without excessive delay.
    • Input, output, and power supply isolation, together with an AC 2kVrms/1 min withstand voltage, separates the measurement circuit from connected power and control circuits.
    • The available voltage, current, and RS485 outputs make the transducer compatible with common PLC, DCS, meter, and SCADA interfaces, with output options including 0–10V, 0–5V, 1–5V, 0–1mA, 0–10mA, 0–20mA, and 4–20mA.
    • With 1 to 3 output channels, it can be configured for different single- or multi-channel monitoring requirements.
    • Its approximately 3W DC or 4VA AC power consumption helps limit heat generation during continuous operation in control cabinets.
    • The compact ABS fire-retardant housing supports installation on a standard 35mm DIN rail or by base screws, fitting common control panels and switchgear layouts.

    Calibration Instructions

Calibration instructions for dc current power transducer

    PWR: Power indicato

    SPAN: Full-scale adjustment potentiometer

    ZERO: Zero adjustment potentiometer

    Calibration Procedure

    • Zero adjustment: With zero input signal applied, adjust the ZERO potentiometer until the output reaches the lower limit (e.g., 0 or 4mA).
    • Full-scale adjustment: Apply the rated input signal, then adjust the SPAN potentiometer until the output reaches the full-scale value (e.g., 20mA).

Note: Calibration potentiometers are for instrument calibration only. Adjustment should be performed by qualified personnel.
