Calibration, service life, and RoHS

We’re looking at using the SUCH-NS-YS1920 for a long-term noise monitoring project, and I wanted to check a few things before ordering. How often does the sensor normally need to be calibrated? If calibration is needed later, would we need any special equipment to do it ourselves? Also, what kind of service life can we expect under normal use? Our purchasing department also needs RoHS documentation. Is a RoHS certificate available?

The sensor is calibrated before shipment and normally does not need to be recalibrated unless a fault occurs. Under normal use, the expected service life is about 8–10 years. We currently do not provide a RoHS certificate for this model.

Reliable Sensor for Daily Use

I’ve been using this sensor to monitor sound levels in a shared office space, and it’s worked consistently from day one. It detects both low and high noise pretty accurately, which helps us understand when the room gets too loud. Installation was simple, and the analog signal has been stable throughout testing. Overall, a very dependable product.
