Installation and Operation Instructions

  • After powering on and pairing with the gateway, the device will detect soil temperature and humidity data every 2 minutes for the first 20 minutes and upload the data to the app. After 20 minutes, it will detect soil temperature and humidity every hour and upload the data to the app (the sensor must remain inserted in the soil for an extended period).  
  • In the mobile app, locate the smart gateway and add the sub-device.
  • Press and hold the “Network Pairing Button” on the soil humidity sensor for 6–12 seconds until the device screen displays a flashing red pairing light.
  • The mobile app will automatically detect the moisture sensor and add it to the list.
  • Note: The moisture sensor is a low-power device. Press the button to enter pairing mode. Please perform this operation within 2 minutes of powering on the device. After 2 minutes, the device button will lock (can be reset by removing and reinserting the battery).
