    Overview

    Economical price top-mounted float level switch features a top-mounted design and is suitable for level detection and control in industrial and commercial applications. SUCH float switch is equipped with a G1 threaded interface and SPDT contacts, and can be powered by 20~250V AC or 19~60V DC. The float rises and falls with the liquid level, driving the internal switch. It boasts a simple structure, stable performance, and high reliability, and is suitable for various liquid media, making it widely used in industrial and commercial sectors.

    Feature

    • Simple structure with easy installation and maintenance.
    • Stable and reliable performance for long-term operation.
    • Not easily affected by viscous liquids, suitable for a wide range of media.
    • Control part is completely isolated from the measured liquid, ensuring high safety.
    • Suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure environments.

    Installation Method

    1. The installation should be far away from the water inlet (outlet) to avoid malfunction caused by water fluctuations.
    2. When installed in an area with stirring, anti-wave pipes or baffles can be installed;
    3. The control line load cannot be used with overload (use with less than the contact capacity).
    4. The angle at which the float and its connecting rod move up and down (with the horizontal line) is ±14 degrees. When the float is in a horizontal position, the switch operates.
    5. When installing, pay attention to the length and hole size of the connecting pipe to ensure the floating range of the float.

    Note: There is a certain error allowed in the total length of the float and connecting rod.

    FAQ

    The main difference lies in the installation method and working principle. Top-mounted switches are installed vertically from the top of the tank, with the float moving up and down with the liquid level; side-mounted switches are installed from the side wall of the tank, with the float swinging as the liquid level changes.

    Suitable for water, oil, and most non-corrosive liquids. Specific applicable media need to be determined based on the float and sealing materials.

    The float switch is installed on the tank or container via the top thread, ensuring that the float can move freely up and down in the liquid. Installation is simple and convenient.
