The waterproof ultrasonic water level sensor is perfectly suitable for sewage, mud, and other liquid environments with a high concentration of suspended solids. The sensor uses non-contact measurement; the ultrasonic signal is emitted from the top of the sensor and reflected back, so impurities in the liquid will not directly affect the internal structure of the sensor. To ensure long-term stable operation, it is recommended to regularly check the probe surface for severe dirt accumulation and select the appropriate probe material (such as stainless steel or corrosion-resistant plastic) depending on the type of sewage to prevent corrosion.

Most waterproof ultrasonic water level sensors support an operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C, which is suitable for most outdoor environments and conventional working conditions. If used in extreme temperature environments (such as high-temperature boiler liquid levels or frozen water bodies), a special model with high-temperature or low-temperature extended functions is required. Low temperatures may affect the speed of ultrasonic propagation, slightly altering the measurement results, so calibration is necessary.

The ultrasonic water level sensor uses non-contact measurement, making maintenance simple. However, it is still necessary to regularly check the probe for dirt, scale, or algae buildup. A soft cloth or neutral detergent can be used to gently wipe the surface; avoid using sharp tools to scrape it. For sewage or chemical liquid environments, it is recommended to check monthly to ensure measurement accuracy and signal stability. Regularly checking the wiring terminals and protective seals also helps extend the sensor's lifespan.
