Buy a wired water leakage sensor. The SUCH wired water leak detection sensor boasts an IP68 waterproof rating, optional relay NO/NC output, and a power supply option of 5V/12V/24V/7-36V. It supports RS485 communication and operates from -20℃ to 60℃. The water leakage sensor features an internal isolated power supply, making it suitable for communication base stations, precision machine rooms, libraries, warehouses, basements, or monitoring rooms.
A leakage sensor is a device used to detect the presence of water or moisture in an area that may cause damage. When water is detected, the leak sensor triggers an alarm or sends a signal to the control system, alerting the user and helping to prevent flooding or equipment damage.
Water leakage sensors should be installed in the locations most prone to leaks, especially in low-lying areas where water can easily accumulate. Common locations include under sinks, near water heaters, washing machines, HVAC equipment, water pumps, pipes, server racks, and basements or equipment rooms.
To turn off a water leak sensor, first remove the water source and dry the sensor. For battery-powered leak sensors, turn off the power or remove the batteries. For wired systems, turn off the controller or disconnect the power. Some leak sensors may also have a reset or mute button to stop the alarm.
