  • CO₂ buildup reflects poor ventilation and can lead to drowsiness or reduced cognitive performance.
  • Formaldehyde (CH₂O) is a known carcinogen found in building materials and household products, so real-time monitoring helps prevent prolonged exposure.
 
  • For high CO₂, improve ventilation by opening windows or using exhaust fans.
  • For high TVOC/CH₂O, remove chemical sources (e.g., air fresheners, solvents) and consider using air purifiers with activated carbon filters.
 

The air quality sensor cannot detect mold or pollen directly, but elevated concentrations of TVOC and PM2.5 (with supporting modules if available) may indirectly reflect the presence of mold or allergens.
