Online Combination pH Electrode, 2~12 pH

Online combination pH electrode is a durable and high-precision sensor commonly used for tap water and conventional sewage treatment. It provides a wide measurement range of 2 to 12 pH with a resolution of 0.01 pH. It has a pressure resistance of up to 0.4 MPa and an operating temperature range of 0℃ to 60℃, which can operate reliably. SUCH electrode body is made of chemically resistant polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), and both the upper and lower parts are 3/4 NPT pipe threads, which are flexible to install and can be used in wastewater treatment, aquaculture, and industrial process control.

pH Calibration

1. A pH calibration is the procedure of adjusting the pH meter by measuring solutions of known pH values. The characteristic of a pH electrode will change with time due to electrode coating and aging. And even a pH electrode would be stable over time, pH electrodes cannot be produced with identical characteristics.
2. In practice the response of a real pH sensor does not exactly follow the Nernst equation. This difference between the theoretical and actual behavior of a pH electrode must be compensated for. A calibration is required to match the pH meter to the current characteristics of the used pH sensor.
