FAQ

Industrial salinity sensors are suitable for applications requiring long-term monitoring of water salinity, such as industrial wastewater treatment, chemical process control, aquaculture, water treatment facilities, laboratory analysis, and drinking water and circulating water systems.

Industrial salinity sensors are typically based on the principle of conductivity measurement, calculating salinity by detecting the conductivity of water. Because dissolved salts increase the conductivity of water, the sensor can calculate the corresponding salinity value based on the change in conductivity.

To ensure measurement accuracy, it is recommended to clean the electrode surface regularly to prevent dirt, algae, or sediment from affecting the measurement. If the operating environment is complex, the maintenance frequency may be increased appropriately.
