This affordable tilt sensor offers high precision with a ±15° measuring range and 0.1° accuracy. It comes in single or dual-axis configurations, with a switch output, and supports 12V or 24V power supply. The SUCH sensor also features an adjustable alarm angle valve (0-15°) for flexible tilt detection. It is widely used in applications such as underground drilling rig navigation, geological equipment monitoring, railway locomotive tracking, and oil drilling operations.
The installation should ensure that the bottom of the inclinometer sensor is parallel to the measured surface and minimize the impact of dynamic forces and acceleration on the sensor. This inclinometer sensor can be installed either horizontally or vertically. For installation, please refer to the following guidelines.
Note:
When selecting the single axis:
When selecting the dual axis:
A tilt switch is a type of sensor used to detect changes in the orientation or tilt of an object. It typically activates an output signal when the object tilts past a certain angle threshold.
A tilt switch operates by using a mechanical or electronic mechanism to detect changes in position. When the sensor tilts beyond a predefined angle, it triggers a signal (typically a relay output) to indicate the tilt condition.
Yes, tilt switches are designed to withstand various harsh environments, including extreme temperatures, vibration, and dust, depending on their IP rating and construction.
