    Installation Diagram

The installation should ensure that the bottom of the inclinometer sensor is parallel to the measured surface and minimize the impact of dynamic forces and acceleration on the sensor. This inclinometer sensor can be installed either horizontally or vertically. For installation, please refer to the following guidelines.

    Note:

    When selecting the single axis:

    • Single Output: A signal is triggered when the alarm value is exceeded, but the side (left or right) of the X-axis is unknown.
    • Dual Output: A signal is triggered, and the side (left or right) of the X-axis is identified, with each side corresponding to a separate relay output.

    When selecting the dual axis:

    • Single Output: A single alarm output is triggered if either the X or Y axis exceeds the threshold.
    • Dual Output: Each axis (X and Y) triggers a separate alarm when the threshold is exceeded.

    FAQ

A tilt switch is a type of sensor used to detect changes in the orientation or tilt of an object. It typically activates an output signal when the object tilts past a certain angle threshold.

A tilt switch operates by using a mechanical or electronic mechanism to detect changes in position. When the sensor tilts beyond a predefined angle, it triggers a signal (typically a relay output) to indicate the tilt condition.

Yes, tilt switches are designed to withstand various harsh environments, including extreme temperatures, vibration, and dust, depending on their IP rating and construction.
