    Waterproof safety light curtain is an IP68 through-beam safety sensor for machine guarding in wet, humid, or washdown environments. It supports 4–20 beams, 20mm/40mm optical axis spacing, 60–760mm detection height, 0–3m detection distance, DC24V power supply, NPN/PNP output, and ≤10ms response time. It is suitable for automation engineers and factory safety projects around stamping machines, assembly lines, and die casting equipment.

    Can the waterproof light curtain work with my existing PLC?
    I need to add a safety light curtain to a machine in a washdown area. The control cabinet is already set up, so I’d like to keep the wiring changes to a minimum. Can I connect the waterproof light curtain to my existing PLC, or do I need to check anything first?

    It depends on the PLC input type and the machine’s control setup. The light curtain is available with NPN or PNP output, so please send us your PLC model and wiring details. If you can also share the available mounting space, we can help check which configuration is suitable. For machine guarding, the overall safety setup should also be verified before use.
