Overview

B type thermocouple consists of a protective head and a corundum thermocouple sheath. It has the advantages of high measurement accuracy, good stability and long service life. The conventional temperature measurement range is 0 to 1600℃, and it can reach 1800℃ for short periods. SUCH thermocouple uses a 0.3mm thermoelectric wire and a corundum protective tube, which has excellent high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and thermal shock resistance. The installation method is flexible and can be customized according to needs. It is widely used in high-temperature industrial fields such as powder metallurgy, sintering bright furnace, vacuum furnace, smelting furnace, glass, steelmaking, ceramics and industrial salt bath furnace.

Not really. B type thermocouples exhibit less thermoelectric potential change in the low-temperature range and are generally more suitable for high-temperature measurements. For low-temperature measurements, it is recommended to use K type, S type, or other thermocouples.
