Dual-ball vertical magnetic float switch features a vertical dual-float design, with a measurement length selectable from 100 to 1000 mm, and is equipped with a Hirschmann connector. SUCH magnetic float switch has a maximum power of 50VA, a maximum switching voltage of 220V AC/DC, a maximum switching current of 1.5A, and a maximum contact resistance of 100mΩ. It is suitable for environments ranging from -30℃ to +120℃. Both the floats and the body are made of SU304 stainless steel, offering corrosion resistance and high strength, making it suitable for level monitoring and control of water, oil, and general industrial liquids.
Working principle: A magnet is used to sense the reed switch.
When the liquid level is low, the float falls, and the reed switch is in the open state (normally open). When the liquid level is low, the float falls, and the reed switch is in the closed state (normally closed).
Changes in the liquid level cause the float to move up and down. The magnet inside the float moves closer to or further away from the reed switch (magnetic reed switch), causing the contacts to close or open, thus outputting a switching signal.
Float level switches are mainly used for point-level control (such as high/low level alarms) and output a switching signal; level gauges, on the other hand, are used to continuously measure liquid level and output an analog signal (such as 4-20mA).
There are two common types: vertical and side-mounted. Vertical installations are suitable for multi-point control, while side-mounted installations are suitable for single-point level alarms.
