    Overview

The pneumatic cylinder magnetic sensor series offers Reed (5–240V AC/DC, dry NO contact, 200Hz, 30G) and solid‑state (10–30V DC, NO with short‑circuit/surge protection, 1000Hz, 50G) versions. Both are IP67 rated, CE compliant, and operate from -10~70°C. This pneumatic cylinder magnetic sensor reliably detects piston positions in automated machinery, conveyor systems, and packaging equipment.

    Feature

    • Dual Sensing Options: Reed (dry contact) or Solid-state NO outputs.
    • Wide Power Flexibility: 5-240V AC/DC (Reed) or 10-30V DC (Solid-state).
    • Superior Shock Protection: Solid-state includes 50G resistance and full circuit protection.
    • High-Speed Switching: Solid-state hits 1000Hz; Reed is 200Hz.
    • Standardized Detection: Uses Ø15.5xØ8xT5 magnet, 2-wire cable, IP67 rated.

    Dimension

Pneumatic cylinder magnetic sensor dimensions: 26.6mm length by 8mm height.

    Notes:

    1. Standard magnet used for measurement: Ø15.5 × Ø8 × 5t (anisotropic rubber magnet).
    2. Do not exceed the contact rating (P = V × I).
    3. Sine wave / X, Y, Z axes / 3 cycles per axis / 11 ms per cycle.
    4. 1 = None; 2 = Output short-circuit protection; 3 = Reverse polarity protection; 4 = Surge absorption protection.
    5. Double amplitude 1.5 mm / 10 Hz–55 Hz–10 Hz sweep, lasting 1 minute / 1 hour of operation in each of the X, Y, and Z axes.
    Application
Magnetic switch sensors mounted on smart factory automated lines to detect fixture engagement and linear actuator positions for precise, error-free production sequencing.

    Smart Factory

Magnetic stroke sensors installed on outdoor agricultural machinery to monitor hydraulic piston travel and verify implement coupling status before field operations begin.

    Agricultural Outdoor

    FAQ

A: It’s a 2-wire sensor for confirming piston position in pneumatic cylinders. Two versions are available: SUCH-ZM-20R and SUCH-ZM-20D. Both are IP67 rated and use a red LED indicator.

A: The R model has no built-in protection. The D model includes output short-circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, and surge absorption protection.

    A: Use the reference magnet: Ø15.5 × Ø8 × 5t anisotropic rubber magnet. For the R model, do not exceed the contact rating (P = V × I). The D model has a 3.5 V max internal voltage drop.
